What the protection diode is trying to do is get connected across the
relay coil as you said to +ve for preventing back emf. That means you
still have to get to the relay coil terminal that is hooked to the
source voltage in the amplifier. This is typically +24 volts in older
relay

The SWR option in the Tx Meter does not become visible until the TUN button is
clicked. To me, from an operational point of view this is a little strange. I
understand that SWR as a meter is not available unless TUN is clicked. However,

docs said to enter -t5 for 5 minutes. But it seems to ignore the -t
