GM,
Using SDR v 1.6.2 SVN 556 or Jeff Anderson's June 23 release and
operating DIGU/L mode with MixW, in Setup/VAC I need to check Enable
VAC. Auto enable doesn't work.
When going from transmit to receive, there is a large audio spike of
the transmitted audio sent to the headphones/speaker.
, had to buy a new one when I got to Munich!)

I sure have in digiU mode. There was a bug on Bug Track, but it seems
to be gone. The audio spike sounds like a combination of a pop and a
chirp. The funny thing is if you listen to the TX signal on another
receiver, the audio artifact is not in the transmitted audio.

The transition issues were affected by the recent changes to improve CW.
We're working to smooth out the rough edges. I was unable to recreate any
problems with VAC Auto Enable.

What was the FCC reg the scanning function had a problem with? Don't
think there was an answer as to the specific reg that is a problem. Is
this a hardware of software issue? Could the software be 'dumbed down' to
make it compliant with the reg in question?

Bill

It does seem kind of funny that the removal of function remains
hush-hush so far. What next, portions of HF that are used by
the government and military will be blocked from receive?

To All,
I have a problem with the USB to Parallel driver. I was running
SDR1k v 1.62 and it would freeze up after about 15 min. Any
mode. Tried v 1.6.1 and K6JCA v 1.6.1 and 1.6.2 with the same
results. I reloaded the USB to Parallel driver, and v 1.6.1 ran for
hours, the same with 1.6.2.
Jeff did a marvelous RD job. Jeff used to tell us that he is
really a hardware engineer and he was just hacking on the
console. Well Jeff, your just hacking has become the
state-of-the-art! Jeff, thank you for listening to Alan K2WS and

Give the Flex Console an Rf Gain Control and I'm back to using it. Until
then I'll stay with the K6JCA Console which can be adjusted for quite
operation on 75 and 160.
The flex console on my computer uses about 10% or so less cpu.

Hi all, was wondering, will Microsoft Visual C# Express Edition 2005
work with the current PowerSDR source code, or do I need an older
version of the compiler?
I downloaded the free 2005 version from Microsoft, then all the PowerSDR
source code using SVN. Just playing around I did a build on the
