Make sure the address of your parallel port in the BIOS is the same as the PowerSDR value. My first time using PowerSDR was with a thinkpad and the default in the bios was nothing like any address I had ever seen, I changed the value and it came right up 73 W9OY

Thinkpads (and some other IBM computers) used 3A8 for the LPT1 printer port address. Most other comptuers use 378 as the LPT1 base address. I used to use a lot of Thinkpads for programming while using the parallel port, and I had to put in the option for which base address to use. I still have
