These are very good points to make. SpeedStep is a BIOS configuration
option with my motherboard and the default setting is OFF. For laptop
users, where heat and power consumption are concerns, the default may

I never upgraded the PreSonus Firebox firmware for 96K sampling
because my computer was too wimpy to use it anyway. Wimpy computer
is gone. Bruiser computer is ready. But ...

The big, iron transformer on the pole outside doesn't
pass much HF. If you could couple to the primary
