Receive is set for post processing and tx is pre-processing.
Tried different sample rates.

The "dc hump" at -11025 KHz below the carrier frequency is not a design
flaw of the SDR-1000. It has little to do with the SDR-1000 itself. It
is a function of the sound card used to digitize the I/Q audio.
Consumer sound cards do not have the filtering at very low frequencies
because they are de
Rob,
I have an SDR-100 as well which I use primarily for SWL'ing. I've been
aggravated by the "DC Hump" as well and like you am wondering what can
be done about it. I also have an SDR-IQ which isn't quite as sensitive
as the SDR-1000 but works quite well and has no sign on the hump. I
know
Hey Jim, Radio Shack has a stero version for 16.99, Part no. 270-054. It has
the wrong kind of connectors, but I will bet they have some adapters. They
call it a "Ground Loop Isolator". They also have a 1:1 audio isolation
transformer in their catalog.

Some of you will remember I have been chasing some interference here.
Well,
I happen to pass WWV on 5.0MHz the other day and there was my interference
right in WWV's upper sideband.
I now have a website up and running and there is an .mp3 of the signal,
a
screen shot of the SDR-10
else noticed this? Suggestions?

Rob,
What was a signicant 11 kHz problem on my SDR-1000 (mainly due to my
second-floor shack and lousy Central Texas ground) is nonexistent on my
FLEX-5000A. Spurs? Yep, a few small ones I can see with the antenna
connector terminated but deep in the noise with the antenna connected. I
have a w
Hi Rob,
If you are seeing aliased ghosts below the hump, you might want to check
that you've correctly nulled the image frequency - I don't have the same
ghosts you seem to have. Some experimentation should help you identify what
the problem is - personally, I would certainly find "ignoring" the
Hi guys,
Have my SDR1k working well enough now to start tackling deeper problems.
One of the first is the 11kHz DC noise. Quite a few of my friends have
been through the shack now. They always ask about the 11kHz hump and are
always turned off by my Q10241 answer: "gotta live with it." It is a

Zack,
I can't quote a number but I know Flex uses a custom-calibrated Array
Solutions Power Meter to calibrate the units at the factory. I think Gerald
mentioned something like 2% to 3% on the power meter itself but I don't know
what the cumulative error might be and I don't know how the SWR brig
