Sorry, my fault. New software requires recalibration especially the
transmitter. Once I calibrated the problem was solved. The strangest was that
transmitting turned off my computer as well.

Hi Jeff,
I am fully aware of how to change settings of the waterfall. I have
tinkered with that endlessly, trying to make the Flex PowerSDR look
like yours, I cannot do it. Give me a clue.

The station you heard is a special case.
Watch for an announcement Monday for details of release date on boards and
new official release of PowerSDR.

John or anyone,
I think I've mentioned to you that I have decided to help with the 500 KHz
project and to that end have strung out 1500 ft. of wire more or less to the
west as a beverage. Now, if I look at the spectrum say from 490 KHz to 515 KHz

Hello Alan,
If you want to be quick and dirty about it I'd say connect the minus pin
of the mic audio in the 8 pin connector to ground and wire the hot side
of the audio to the plus pin (or vice versa).
I just finished installing an HC-5 into a D-104 for use with the
balanced connection of the F5
Dale is correct - you can change sensitivity via the menues. By the
way, my implementation of the waterfall calls the Flex Waterfall routine
for the bottom part of the display. In other words, I took the
extremely easy route of using existing routines and did not add anything

Dave,
Are you aware that you can change the waterfall sensitivity to whatever

I have a comment concerning the Flex-radio PowerSDR waterfall display.
For weak signal work (i.e. EME work), the K6JCA "skins" version of
PowerSDR has an excellent waterfall display when run in conjunction
with the panadaptor. This version of the waterfall easily displays
weak signal traces whe
Bill,
The F5K already has 11th order filters for each band incorporated in the
transmit output circuitry. So, not only is your external low-pass filter
probably not necessary, but you have the benefit of filtering on 6m as well.

The automatic antenna switch is the Ameritron RCS-12.
I'll take a look at DDTutnx info.

I'm hearing/seeing many ssb and cw signals on six right now.
I've started a new branch for experimenting with rx2. You can find it
at SVN branches/w2rf/rx2/bin/release.
So far I've added SpaceNav with VFO switching, my current QSK work,
and an option for rx2 direct i/q output.
To use rx2 with Skimmer CAT control you need an OmniRig config file

I'm experiencing random band switching ONLY while using a Linear Amp. Release
v1.10.4 works fine however, SVN v1.10.4_2235 through 2270 will switch bands
when transmitting. I'm using an SDR1000/Delta44 and Ameritron AL-82 connected

I did forget to mention one thing.
My Sommer yagi is 6 through 40 meters.
So a separate feedline will not work.
I'm leaning on just forgetting the low pass filter altogether

Hi,
Modern rigs all have several lowpass filters in line that are switched
according to which band you are using. Solid state linear amplifiers do
the same. Your tube amplifiers generally use a Pi-L network as a
matching device to the antenna, so I don't think a lowpass filter is
needed thes

I think, this will work.
Ever since I started, I was told it's good insurance to keep a low pass filter
in your line.
I 'normally' keep a low pass filter inline when operating HF.
But obviously this is NOT a good idea when operating on 6 meters.
Right now I use a manual switch.
So if I was to in

You will LOVE the audio in the Flex 5K. The discussions were on

except to say that the 5K has incredible audio whether you feed it by the mike
