Sounds like a fantastic thing. Unfortunately some of us are unable to set up
1500 ft beverage antennas or whatever else is needed to accomplish this.

Some people have been talking about dual monitors.
I have some PCI nVidia dual monitor cards.
Would it be acceptable if I mentioned that they are looking for a good home?

Yes. There is additional CPU use when changing the graphics. Depending
your PC hardware, you may not see much of a difference though. For example,
on my quad core Q6600 development machine, The CPU use on Pretty Betty is up
~3-4%.

If I'm not mistaken, that's a Hyperthreaded processor, not a dual-core.
I'd probably recommend getting a new machine for anything else that you do and
then wipe this one clean and reload it with a fresh OS for your Flex computer.

OK, I know that the specs say 13.8V +/- 10% so that is an operating
voltage range of 12.4V to 15.2V. But what is the real operating range,
especially on the low end? Seems to me that the Flex 3000 is clearly
aimed at portable operation but portable operation to me implies
battery power. Tha
