If I'm not mistaken, that's a Hyperthreaded processor, not a dual-core. I'd probably recommend getting a new machine for anything else that you do and then wipe this one clean and reload it with a fresh OS for your Flex computer. I'd stay away from ANYTHING else on the machine such as anti-viru
