It should. Give it a try and let us know how it works.

Thanks to Stew, W4MO, I compared his SDR-3000 to my SDR-5000A on 6 meters. Here
are the results.
I did an A-B test using an antenna of stacked 7 element 31 foot M2's with 1/2
wave spacing and phased by a W8IF HB Q-Bar. The test was mainly to find out how
the receiver of each would perform on
0 (i.e. no delay).

Hello,
when I use the keyboard in CWX to send CW-Signals the signs are interrupted or
lost.
When I take my laptop and make a connection with my PC (using the windows XP

not interrupted or something else. It ist 100%
I have received several emails and talked with folks using it on the air, so

you have the correct mic source selected in the mixer tab. If you set the gain
to zero using the mic meter you will
get 0db alc comp. If you set the mic gain for 3db you will get 3
Tim/Eric,
VOX is working very nicely with the Logitech Wireless Headset.
Thanks!!! It now makes this headset very useable.
I am running into one problem. I get a Port Audio error - Invalid
Number of Channels whenever I have Stereo enabled. (test branch 3159)

What is the driver type in the VAC setup? If it is WDM-KS, change it to

Hi, this is my first post to the flexradio list. I have an SDR-1000
that I use under Windows XP and it works well. I would like to use it
under Linux.
I have compiled the JAVA-SDR source and run it with the following out

If so, what is your opinion of it?

I was using MME. Windows DirectSound Will only work if Stereo is OFF. I
have found that MME Microsoft Sound Mapper will work with Stereo
enabled on the Test Branch 3159 but going directly to the Logitech
Wireless device gives the error unless I disable Stereo.
On Pretty Betty, MME and both Sound
I do not think there is any reason not to use the sound mapper.

I understand the delay time is 0 by default. If the Flex is used in
conjunction with an amp does the switching time need to be setup to say
5ms or just leave it? I am using an Ameritron ALS 600 amp with an
internal qsk module designed by AD5X (his article is in the June 2009

Don,
My Ameritron AL-80B and QSK-5 switch just fine with the F5K relay delay at
default (zero). Been using it that way for almost a year without any
problems.

Folks
Because of limited dexterity in my hands I have been playing around with
speech recognition and PowerSDR using dragon naturally speaking.
Has anyone done any experimentation using speech recognition to control
PowerSDR ?
I was thinking I might be able to cobble something together
This brings up a fascinating related issue. Is there anyone at Flex
who would like to work with a blind programmer to make a audio
version of PowerSDR??? Keyboard in (instead of mouse), audio out
(instead of on the screen).

I am probably missing something (I don't use CW very often) but why
wouldn't you just plug the paddle directly into the radio and use the
keyer in PowerSDR?

Perhaps I have done what you suggest and perhaps I am not happy with
with the internal keyer perhaps because of my heavily overloaded older
laptop. Since I may have access to a Palm Paddle Code Cube keyer, I was
simply asking for information to decide if this would be a good keyer to
