Hi all just got an email back from some one that can read, LOL. The firewire card I have found has the chip markings of TI TSB82AA2 its a texas instrument chip it has firewire 800 (two external plugs) and 400 as a single external and one internal. Has anybody used this chip based firewire

Firewire 800 only has native operating support with Win7, which by the way is the primary reason that there are problems with Win7 and Firewire with a lot of products in addition to the FLEX-x000 SDRs. To get that adapter to work on a different operating systems, you will have to use a vendor
