Here is the problem with com port repeaters that DDUTIL does not have. There
is no logic in a com port repeater to prevent one CAT enabled program from

Multiple devices can not share comports (virtual or physical) without some
special logic to make sure devices or software connected to them are not in
conflict.
PowerSDR has only one CAT port and only one application can use it unless you
have something like DDUTIL mediating the CAT traffic.

Mine has been working continuously for over 8 years.

Thanks Michael. I got this to work quickly and simply. DDUtil didn't do

Harry I would be interested to try Teamviewer if it be setup in addition to

My problem with using Skype is that I already use Skype for talking to friends.
I have had no luck with it simultaneously doing Remote Flex as well.

Hi Dennis
I should have installed 1.18.6 on your machine, you should download it. My
mistake!
Then load the config from 1.18.5 to the new one. If you need help, my number
is on the bottom of the note!

Dennis,
Welcome to the group!
Bill is using a new version of the software that is now in beta testing. In
a week or so, PowerSDR v2.0 will be released. When it is, you will get a
whole bunch of new features, including the capability of selecting the
"skin" you want for the display.

Welcome to the club, Dennis.
Lee is using the PowerSDR 2.0.0 beta software which is not released yet.
Hopefully it will be out shortly after Dayton. As a new user, I recommend that
you stay with the released versions of the software which are more stable and
provide a better environment while

Gary,
Leave the radio port in DDUtil at COM5 (PowerSDR is COM 4). Launch
PowerSDR and DDUtil. In the title bar of DDUtil you should see your
current VFO and frequency setting and it should follow when you tune
the radio. THis ensures PowerSDR is talking to DDUtil.
Next, on the ports tab in DDUtil
