While reading the owners manual pdf for the Flex 1500, I saw that the Tx output
power can be displayed in PowerSDR. Is it also possible to display the
reflected power/SWR?
Another question that is not clearly (to me at least) answered is can transmit

Thanks Gerald et al. Turning off the NB did the trick.
So..because the NB operates over the entire bandwidth..I don't fully
understand why that would make the noise floor jump due to strong adjacent
signals. Sorry I am sometimes slow on the uptake.

AGC operates only on the final filtered bandwidth so pumping from other
signals does not make sense. Do you have the noise blanker turned on? That
might do it since it operates on the entire bandwidth.

Yes, that is the only advantage. It gives you the full panadapter bandwidth
with the IF at the center.

The answer is "it depends."
The selection of the "transverter output versus PA output" is independent of
the transverter table operation.
BUT...
the Amateur Band frequency checking is active anytime you are operating on
the 5W PA output.

So, using the standard radio, yo
Gerald,
Is the only advantage of doing this centering the carrier in the panadapter?
Thanks.

I set mine to +/- 200 Hz (depending on sideband in use) and turn SR off.
That works fine on all modes until you flip sidebands so that you need to
reverse the sign of the offset. We are planning to make this automatic in
an upcoming release.

Dear Hulen,
I can assure you that we are shipping in the date sequence of the sales
orders entered into our accounting system. There are several possible
administrative reasons that this could have happened. I have copied Julie

Hi Martin:
Setting the IF to zero will work fine with SSB and CW, but you find that the
radio
will no longer receive AM, since the central carrier will fall on the
"zero".
So, if you do not care about AM, then OK.
Otherwise setting it to 500 Hz, or 3 kHz or 5 kHz is a suggestion.

Hulen,
I recommend that you give the folks at FlexRadio a call on Monday and see
exactly what the situation is regarding your order status. I am sure it is a
paperwork or other mishap.
On the other hand, Gerald has stated that all of the FLEX-1500 orders placed by
the end of May would be proc

Hi,
PSDR 2.0.x is set tu IF 9.000 kHz.
The additional paper to the Flex 1500 says you can set it to 5.000 kHz
to move the red carrier-line more to the middle of the panadapter.
If I set it to 0 kHz it then IS in the middle. Why not set it to 0 kHz?
Is there any problem with this?

I just read a post where folks are getting their Flex-1500's after having only
ordered them since Jan of this year. What the hell is going on guys? Is this
true? I've been with Flex since just after the 1000 got it's enclosure. What
