While reading the owners manual pdf for the Flex 1500, I saw that the Tx output
power can be displayed in PowerSDR. Is it also possible to display the
reflected power/SWR?
Another question that is not clearly (to me at least) answered is can transmit

Hi,
PowerSDR 2.0.5 shows you the power output. But in the current beta
stadium the scale is from 0 to 1000 W and so 5 W will not be displayed
with the instrument only with digits.
A SWR-bridge is not included so no SWR-messurement is possible.
The device has 3 antenna ports. One is PA
Hi Mark
I believe this problem is well known as it was discussed with Bob at the
Flex Dinner in Dayton ... I am pretty sure that I logged it as a feature
request / bug some time ago (along with others). I want / need the noise
blanker (they do work great) on 6 meters to get rid of noise garbage,
Kevin et al.,
I suffer from the same problem at my qth. The QRN on 6 is such that I
need to use the NB most of the time, but when strong signals appear
(anywhere) on the band, it becomes useless. If such a change in the NB
software is possible, it would certainly improve the operation here.

Hi Ron:
The display of the RF power on PowerSDR is an estimate from measuring the
drive levels
and the PA calibration. It does not actually measure power output. In
future releases,
(as in next Fridays 2.0.6) it will change to a relative scale of 0 to 100,

It is logged in the developer's bug tracker as DE 82

I am glad you like the radio as a microwave IF.

Just wondering, since the Flex receiver is a general coverage receiver and
very handy, and I do some SWL from time to time. Is this by design?

Watch the AGC-T slider control as you cross the Out Of Band boundary
and I think you'll notice that it moves to a default level that is
different from your AGC-T setting within the Ham bands.

Just wanted to write a short note and say how much I enjoyed using my 5k

PowerSDR and N1MM talking to each other consistently while using DDutil
so I just finally went Power SDR direct to N1MM.
