I did this with a Flex-3000 and PTC-IIe some months ago. The signals you need are on the Flexwire connector. It helps if you start with a cable from SCS with the DIN connector already attached since these are hard to solder. I found it quick and easy to do, and it worked exceedingly well. George,

[Flexradio] a possibility ?

this may seems lame or 'snooty' but here goes. Is there any possibility the flex list could be segregated by hardware? i.e. a separate F5k list, a separate F3k list, separte F1.5k list ? I'm guessing most guys just own one flex radio, and tire, as i do, of sorting thru stuff that does not apply

Hi Dan The thing is that PowerSDR is more radio than the hardware hanging off the end of the firewire cable so you are all using the same radio! I understand what you mean though, with each new hardware introduction, there is an initial flurry of emails on the reflector until the environment

Don't make the mistake that Icom did in their IC-910, etc. where if the 432MHz band is tuned up 5kHz, the 144MHz band is tuned down also 5kHz. The bands must tune in ratios of their frequencies, I.e., tune up 144MHz by 5kHz, the 432MHz must be tuned down by approximately 15kHz (use actual

That would be a software feature for satellite operation and I do not believe there is a plan to do it since you can get the functionality using third-party software. You should add it to the enchantments list. -Tim -Original Message- From: flexradio-boun...@flex-radio.biz

Brian, I believe that you will find that the Doppler shift is a proportional to the frequency. Therefore, the shift at 432MHZ would be approximately 3 times the shift at 144MHz. A simple thought experiment demonstrates this. Assume you have a 144MHz frequency source it is moving away from

Let's do some quick math. The change in frequency (delta F in Hz) is equal to (-) (Vs-Vr)/wavelength (a close 1st order approximation when the speed of the wave is much greater than the speed of the observer) Vs is the velocity of source. For AO-51, that is about 8000m/s Vr is the velocity of
