I would like to acknowledge Gerald and his crew but more specifially Gerald.
Having communicated with
multiple companies for many reasons, I have never had a company president or
CEO respond back in person.

David,
Let me confirm what Neal is saying, the 3000/5000 series requires a 400
mbit , or 1394a FireWire port. There has been some question as just how
compatible the 800 mbit cards really are. Most seem to have the best luck
with sticking to the 400 mbit cards, on the other hand, the iM

Hi,
Since Flex is doing a complete redo of the CW portion in PowerSDR
(YEA!!) I have a couple of requests for consideration.
1. I'd like to see a change in the CWX box where instead of using the
mouse point/click to recall memories could that be changed to the
function keys. In my opinion t
There might be a penalty in that many of these cards don't seem to work
well, even ones with TI chipsets. No advantage even if they do work, except
you have a port available for ant 800-speed firewire devices. If you don't,
no need.

I notice there are Firewire 800 cards out there and these require an
adaptor for connecting FW400 devices like the FLX3000. Would there be
any advantage in running an 800 card with the radio?

I agree with the best wishes and wonder where we all want the COWBOYs to go!
I know here in Washington its probably a bit warmer there than Dallas.

Sorry for my understanding :-)
I'm not sure if it's necessary. Tim recommended to read the hotfixes

Amen and amen. Take a well-deserved break from responding to our gripes and
whines and settle in for turkey overdose and football. You folks do a
fantastic job and we too seldom express our appreciation.

Good question.
The installation of the hotfix will create a restore point that you can use to
revert back to a previous configuration state.

NO, you misunderstood my question as a statement.
I was asking if it is needed for Windows 7.
When I try and check the controller, under Windows 7, it does not say
anything.
