I always read, listen to other comments, make notes and then try the ideas.
When I find a combo that works for me I stick with it regardless of the
naysayers...so good for you and enjoy your set up !!! I believe your
approach is very good and worth attention.

Rick,
What Firewire cable are you using? The 1st thing I would try is to switch
to the Granite Digital (or similar double-shielded cable). I have found
that the most susceptible area to RF is the Firewire connection. Using a
double-shielded cable, ferrite chokes on the Firewire cable, or both
OK Eddie, after yours mail the combo N1MM-FLDIGI deserve an extensive
check at all. It may be that I tried it too early with N1MM. The combo,
so N1MM, is the key. I think I have got the sense of yours mail. FLDIGI

Hi,
Just installed VAC 4.09 and went to the control panel to make the initial
settings. It comes up showing one cable and when I change the setting to two
cables and press set a small window pops up saying Cannot change device
property (0/5 - access is denied) and accepting this message
Sounds like a permissions issue or something has exclusive use of the cable you
are trying to modify.
I would suggest contacting VAC support
