Don't worry about it, Jim. For years I had a sign on my office wall
to remind me:
CAUTION! BE SURE BRAIN IS ENGAGED BEFORE PUTTING MOUTH INTO GEAR.

Colleagues,
As suggested, I finally got around to making a set of measurements at drive
levels of 50 and 100. The results seem to show some non-linearity (as
expected), but not enough to account for my original findings for the digital

I've posted a couple of video and screen captures of my Flex 5k startup
audio problem (pulsating audio and pan adapter) - anyone else have this
happen? I posted the video, not to complain but as an aid to diagnose

I too ran some rack gear prior to Flex.
Not the same as yours, and I still have some of the audio gear, but am
thinking of getting rid of it, as it is rather redundant and no longer adds
much to the audio mix that the Flex can't do by itself.
Of course YMMV but I kind of like the idea of

Thanks to a knowledgable Flexer using TeamViewer, I had VAC and several digital
modes working, including DigiPan. I was decoding PSK-31 amd even had a couple
of 2 meter QSOs on it. (No HF antennas here at present)
Then a virus struck my computer and I had to have it wiped clean and XP
Thanks Tim, I'm running the legacy.
