GAME CHANGER AHEAD!
For those of you attending Dayton Hamvention this year, we invite you to
visit our booth (312-314 & 323-325) for the latest in FlexRadio Systems
products. Also, don't forget to register for the FlexRadio Systems Banquet
to be held Saturday, May 19th as we still have a few tick
There's some kind of bug there, it's switching to FM that grays out the MON
button, Graying out MON for FM is by design, however when using VHF/UHF (and
possibly HF) and switching between SSB and FM for a while PowerSDR gets into
a state where the MON button stays grayed out no matter the mode and
I recently had a VU5K module installed and now I notice that when switching
from HF to UHF/VHF (to work a satellite pass) the MON button becomes grayed
out and stays that way even when I switch back to HF. If I shutdown PSDR
then restart it, the MON button is usable again. v 2.3.5
Is this a bug?

Rob,
Search the Knowledge Center for "Edit BandText Table". The article is old &
refers to the .mdb file used by earlier versions of PowerSDR. However, the
principles are still the same. The only difference is that you will be
editing a .XML file.

Hi everybody,
I'd like to edit the text below the frequency readouts to something more
applicable to my band plan.
For instance "40M Extra CW" would simply be "40m CW" here in the
Netherlands.
I once read an article about this, but it seemed to involve editing an .mdb
file, which I couldn't find
Hi:
I use VSPmgr with great success for WSPR, JT-65HF and other digi modes for my
Flex 3000A.
My setup is as follows:
In PowerSDR V2.3.5:
Open Setup, CAT Control, set CAT Control to COM6, 57600, none, 8, 1 and check
enable CAT. In the same window set PTT Control to COM7, check DTR box an
For some time I have thought that my Flex3000 S-Meter is "stingy." Using a
-73dBm signal source, which should produce a S-9 reading, what results is a
S-7 reading. I am in search of the procedure to re-calibrate the S-Meter.
Searching the wiki, the user manual, the Test Setup form, and KB have not
Tom,
I have WSPR running on a new Windows 7 computer and my Flex 1500, with
2.3.5.
For the PTT I use vspMgr. I tried some of the other comm port programs and
had lots of trouble with computer locking up and had to go to a previous
restore point. Once I used vspMgr it works fine with WSPR and
