I have to agree about emails, being a secretary of a club and having
to keep an eye on whats gets posted is important, I donĀ¹t want to have to
keep logging in every hour to find out what
has or has not been posted, fortunately the system that we use allows each
member to subscribe to

Same here as Gerald. The only negative (versus what you are used to) is to
reply or track the dialog you have to go back to the community but I have
not minded doing that. I think the community is less impulsive (you might
say immediate) so it seems that there are many fewer emotional outbursts

I went to view the PowerSDR section.. I am seeing posts that are for SSDR.
I am not interested in SSDR.
I can't afford a 6000 series radio.
I have a Flex-1500 and
Gerald the issue isn't posting of messages. It's the finding or
retrieval of information. HRD did the same thing abandoning their email
reflector and using a forum. As far as I have seen, it's a disaster.
Efforts to find info generates massive amounts of unrelated or
irrevalent material. The
