I have 5 Demi transverters. four of them are driving my Lunar Links just fine. I also have the Elecraft 432 and 2m transverters. The  Elecraft 2m  puts out 25 watts on a good day and runs hot. The 432 Elecraft is not stable enough for jt65b. I spent two months working on it with emails back

I've been reading this thread with interest as I'm trying to make up my mind between the DEMI and Elecraft. They both seem to have good specs and reports, but does the Elecraft supply power and sequencing for an external preamp? Rick, W2JAZ ___

I have both. Define much better. They are both good quality. The Elecraft is as expensive and a kit. It has far more possibilities of IF power control from 1mw to 8 watts of drive. Auto band changing if you have a K3. I could go on. The Demi is a good unit but locked in at one drive level
