Sorry, a bit related but a bit off base.
If there is anyone using their computer to stream high quality (44, 96, 192

I want to bypass use of CDs and move to computer based storage/playback of

I wonder if anyone has any any issue regarding a keyer NOT keying the Flex 3000?
I have been using a Logikey CMOS keyer on my Flex for some time, but I think in

the odd trouble with RF getting into the 12 volt supply line..
and I get tired of replacing batteries in it.

So... anyone care to comment about the change in ATU performance on the Flex
3000 with the new ver 2.0 installed?
I will be curious about that.. I have hopes for it
I won't know for a bit myself since my 3000 is off on a long journey to and

Would this improvement similarly affect the 3000 as well as 5000 series of Flex

As in shared keying /TR hardware characteristics?

Advice please:
Suddenly my Panafall is not displaying the 'fall' portion on the bottom.
Nor will it display the waterfall by itself separately.
Where have I 'fallen' and why? How do I restore the functional display?
tnx

playing with filters, finding signals, etc) I had some time to think about
having some time ON the air.
Long story short, first contact was on 40 CW, but very noisy and not so great.

OK. I am being a good new user and reading the manual first so I am going
to have some newbie questions re. the Flex 3000..
Regarding tuning up... the manual says:
If you are not using the internal ATU then connect a 50 ohm dummy
load, or ensure that the antenna presents a 50 ohm load
