Does the Mic Boost setting now change with the Transmit Profile? If
so, I could use two mics on my 5000A, one in the front and one in the
back jack and with two different profiles the Mic Boost would turn off
or on with the profile.

To me, the fan in the 3000 is very noisy and you have to deal with the
modular RJ45 mic plug. It's worth it to me to have the 5000.

It would be nice if NR worked. I also have not found any settings that

It would also be nice if NB and NB2 worked, if you set the level to
eliminate the noise, it distorts the audio and brings in splatter from
off frequency signals.
I hope Flex has plans to fix these issues.

On 6 and 10 meters my preamp is not working. The ON is grayed out and
the blue bar below is lit, but can not turn it off or on ( I think
it's off). Other bands are OK except 160 meter and guess it does not
work there by design. Any thoughts?

David,
i do not find NR usable at all, it does just as you have stated, it
knocks the noise down and after the software settles down the noise
is right back where it was before NR was turned on, changing the
settings in the menu does not help.
I love the radio, but NR is useless in version 2.0.1

Thanks for the answer. Is the Flex Driver in the panel labelled
