This simple device looks interesting . The proper way for me to refer
to how it works would be ... it shows how much my equipment is drawing
from the power supply or . it shows how hard your power supply is
working by listing the voltage and amperage use ? or both ?thanks
John

Just some info , Even with up dating with the most recent firmware
(2.4.4 ) I am unable to use CW on my 1500 with out an external keyer .
However I did purchase and put together the pico keyer kit and when used
with the 1500 and turning the sidetone off on the radio I am able to
operate with
was hoping that with the new radio we might not need such
software . Is there any hope of making the operation any easier for
less technical people ? If so I am in ! Thanks for your help . John

I am listening to the 25mtr shortwave band now and there is no muffled
sound or any thing out of the ordinary that I can tell . Wide filter
settings and SAM mode I do notice however that when I hit ANF key it
seems to raise the gain of the signal but is just as clear as with out
it . John
I have and what software is running it ? or what software to
switch to ? Just so that I am clear we are not talking about the fire
wire cable but the computer fire wire card and software. Mann I am
gonna learn this stuff yet ! John Molenda kb2huk

I just had a freeze with the manufacturer's Firewire driver, so I have
not yet found a solution other than to revert back to 2.3.5. Again,
the cause was apparently a long DPC of over 35,000 microseconds after
about an hour
stations . Finally I settled on a station out of Toronto Ca. AM
740 and enjoyed there soothing music at the widest filter setting .
Very nice ! Thanks Flex . John Molenda kb2huk
