I use a Toshiba Tablet PC for SDR all the time and it runs at about 50% with
occasional spikes to 75%. At the same time, I have several background
programs running, such as firewall and MS messenger. I have no problems at
all (other than a probable ground loop with the usb cable). Runs great on
it.
I'm not sure who to send the "kudos" to at Flex, but I guess my hat is off
to all. I returned my SDR last week with a bad IC2. I never expected it, but
upon returning from work, it found it safe back at my house again. SIX DAYS

Here's another problem that's raised it's ugly head for me.
Now, when I tune, it makes no difference what I set the tuning power to on
the transmit tab. I took it all the way down to 1watt and it still wants to
tune at 40 watts (both on the SDR software and my watt meter). I am using

"tweak" out a "tic toc" sound I hear across all bands? It's loudest on
40mtrs.

I just set mine up on a Toshiba R15 TabletPC (WindowsXP Prof). I have the
Firebox and a usb adapter. The setup process went fine and I can transmit
and receive. The CPU process shows 17% to 38% in the lower left corner of
the SDR program (preview 17)
