Disconnect everything from com1. Measure the voltage POLARITY at each pin number. (Com1) As soon as one hooks up the Ground lead to any pin (4,6, or 8 I think) this will key the rig. One needs an interface that isolates the ground. Use an optoisolator . Mark Tyler K5GQ
