Try Ham Radio Deluxe or MixW - both will handle PSK63 and I'm sure there are
others out there.

One other possibility that I've experienced with a Shuttle PC is that the
USB ports on the machine are unable to supply enough current to all attached
devices (I have a Netgear wireless USB dongle that is really power hungry)
and that can cause all sorts of weird problems.
Happy New Year all

Eric,
Have to disagree - on my external power meter into a dummy load there is an
output on rx to tx in SSB both on a firebox and a delta 44 (haven't checked
CW)

Struggling with this one...
I'm trying to configure PSK31 deluxe to drive PowerSDR via Ham Radio Deluxe.
Some functions work fine (mode selection and any functions without a space
in the name) but I can't get the filter or noise blanket to work.
Config I am using (in PSK31 Deluxe) is as fol
Scott,
I get exactly the same numbers except on high where I get -124 dBm (my radio
also calibrated against an XG1)

Not sure if this has been asked before, but if it has I can't find the
answer. I have an application in for a variation to my licence to allow me
to transmit on 60m. Thing is, the UK spot frequencies differ from those in
the Power SDR console. I have had a go at adding them to the Band stack
table
Sorry Peter - should have said - these figures are with SDR hardware turned
off and unplugged/inputs shorted out.

Peter,
I asked the same question in a different way a while back. I noticed that
with no inputs to the Firebox (or Delta 44 - I have both) the analogue input
meters on the SDR software were reading in the order of 100dB down on
maximum. Doing some simple maths the theoretical minimum fro a 24bit s
Thanks to all for the info. Out of interest are any hardware schematics
available as this would help a lot?

Hi all,
I've a question about the connections for keying my linear. I understand the
concept of open collector, it's limitations (current, voltage breakdown
etc.) and have used this approach to switch my linear before. However, the
protection diode thing is confusing me. Usually I would connect
I have exactly the same figures so I guess everything is OK. Still don't
understand the noise levels with the radio powered off though?

Hi all,
Had my SDR-1000 for three weeks now and am now getting to grips with it.
Have a few questions though (receiver calibration done using XG2):
The background noise level on the analog inputs (SDR switched off) is around
-86dBfs using a Firebox. Is this normal as it seems high to me (+/
