Ray, This is normal. The front receptacle has it's signal fed through an additional preamp. I use a separate preamp for my dynamic mike on the balanced rear input. This preamp boosts up the signal to approx. -10 dBm. I don't use the boost in the software in that case. Hope this helps, Rob,

Calibration, or index of co-operation, was never an issue, or even used, with HELL. That's why a receiving HELL system prints two lines with the same text simultaneously. That way a slanted text has always at least one complete instance of text visible. -- Rob Keijzer PA3CNT
