Does anyone know anything about the computer
interface on the Kenwood TS-430S?
I've been searching for years and can't find
any info about the commands, or any software
for it.

All of the Kenwood rigs use the same CAT command set. Some of the newer
rigs have new commands that are not used by the older rigs, but that is not
a problem. The TS-430S would simply ignore a command it didn't recognize.
