You just received an answer from Dudley (Mr. Flex Service to many of us).
Connect your second antenna to the BNC RX2 connector and you are set to go.
I have a early 5K (blue light) and it works well. There were very few of
the early antenna matrix boards, and most were upgraded long ago.

Rx2 can only access Ant1, RX2 in, or RX1 Tap, connect your secondary or
reference antenna to Ant1 or preferably RX2in, BNC CONNECTOR. Then start the
diversity RX. You will only hear and see RX1.

Just purchased a very nice 5K. Learning curve steep. Trying to operate in
dual diversity receive configuration where ANT1=NVIS dipole while ANT2=
elevated dipole. I am unable to make this seclection. Reading and trying
to understand the published reference material, quick question if I
might..
