[Flexradio] Ameritron ARB-704

2011-08-22 Thread W6SDM Steve
I also use the ARB-704 with between my Flex 3000 and AL-811. It has been in constant use for over a year without a single problem. I wouldn't hook any amp up to a solid state transceiver without some sort of isolation. This little relay does the trick very well and it's relatively inexpensive.

Jim - I use the 704 keying buffer with my F3K and 4 tube 811H. No problems that I know of... 73, _dan, wy0o On Sun, Aug 21, 2011 at 12:14 PM, Jim Dear wrote: > I have a Flex 3K and an Ameritron AL-1200 amp I would like to use with it. > I > am thinking of purchasing an Ameritron ARB-704 keying

I have a Flex 3K and an Ameritron AL-1200 amp I would like to use with it. I am thinking of purchasing an Ameritron ARB-704 keying buffer. Has anyone had any experience good or bad with the ARB-704? Does anyone have a better recommendation? 73, Jim W5LOG (Looney Old Grouch) _
