Hi group,
how many of you would want the Dual Watch function, within the spectrum
displayed ?
I need this every time I'm working DX, split 5 or 10 Khz.
Yes I can wider the filter up to the max to listen all, pileup and DX, but
this is not the same thing

It has been in the dsp code for over a year. That is what those rx[k]
where k < MAXRX things are about. As shipped, the dsp is capable of
running 3 watch receivers and a primary. It needs to implemented in the
GUI.

Dual watch would be good, especially on 40 meters if you are in Belize
(or Italy) and working stateside and DX at once. But, that probably

Excellent, Phil!
One thing I'm not clear on. Does the sub-rx need to be tuned within the 96 khz
window? Seems like it would need to be. My interests are in listening to
stations that are a few Mhz apart, such as the Chinese MW outlet on 963 khz and
their parallel HF frequencies in the 90 and 60
Hi group, yes all of you are right,
we can now look easy at pileup and point/click very near where the DX is
listening.
In my opinion the Dual Watch, or second receiver request can get up SDR1K
to high class DX machine,
listen&tune the TX where DX is listening make the difference.

This will be in version 1.7.0 beta release and it will have one main
receiver and 3 watch receivers by default. You will be able to select
any or all of them as the main focus. NO TIMETABLE FOR RELEASE IS
IMPLIED. When we have the core dsp process running its tasks under the
IK3VIG console (
I must register my vote with Dale on this one. Even though the SDR 1000 has a
superior receiver, I still prefer using my FT1000mp to work split dx.
This is because of the mp's dual receiver setup. There is a huge advantage in
being able to simultaneously listen to the dx station in one ear and
Hello again,
During my SDR hiatus, dual watch has been added to PowerSDR. The manual
doesn't call it dual watch, but sub band instead. Am I correct in my reading
that the sub band must be within the pan adapter bandpass? With the
asymmetrical pan adapter center frequency, that means dual watch is
