Ray, I have installed Data Import utlility version 2.1. Importing Region1BandText.mdb works perfect now. Thank you very much for your help and work. I also want to thank Klaus DK7XL, K6JCA and W4TME for their help to try and find the cause of this European problem. 73 Eddy ON5UQ.

Tim, Aren't VB6 error messages so wonderfully descriptive & helpful??? Eddy, This error usually indicates that the program has encountered an error when trying to open a database or a table in the database. My 1st suggestion is to uninstall the Data Import Utility and completely re-install it
