There are a bunch of changes from version 12 to current version of 18.6, even
more in the beta version. I highly recommend to try both the 18.6 version and
the beta version. I think that will find it much better than version 12.

Zero is probably not low enough. try -1 or -2. there is probably
overshoot that is not showing up on the meter..
Alpha quotes the max drive levels at 50-55 watts, so the power must be
a little higher than you are thinking?
