A little off topic, perhaps, but if any of you will doing FD with operators this weekend, you might to take a look at my article about training new ops on the ARRL website near the end of the week. The techniques were used successfully last year at my QTH. Bob, NZ5A Sent from my iPhone __

Wow, what a weekend. The bands were great. The Flex 3000 was great. The Flexcontrol was even greater!! And the weather here in Central VA was absolutely wonderful, low humidity and reasonable temps. Thanks Stu and everyone who developed and made the FlexControl available. It is a terrific

Larry, There is another way to get out of demo mode. Go to the Setup>General>Hardware Configuration tab and select the correct radio. Shut down and reload PowerSDR and you will be back up and running. Reset database always works but you loose all your settings unless you save and restore your n

Greetings All, I used my Flex 3000 for Field Day with my club, K5WPH 5A NM, mostly on 40 sideband. The main problem I had was trying to use a new UPS on the computer I was using for the Flex. I had several hard crashes before I got it through my thick head to change to a different generator and

Question, has anyone run a Flex 3000 on field day. I was curious if I was going to have an issue with less then predictable power output of a generator. I was going to plug in my 1300 watt ups system into the generator and power my Astron RS 35M and computer from that. Any thoughts. Adam N8MOX _

Just delete this if you're not interested, otherwise... I took my 5000C out to our club field day site, as noted in an earlier post. I wanted to see how it would do on much better antennas than I have up at home as well as in a higher RF environment. My side of the operating position had

I really did not think it was possible, but I love my SDR-1000 even more. I had the opportunity at Field Day to use a pretty new Ten-Tec Omni VII for a while and was terribly dissapointed. It just did not measure up. I did not like the display at all and severely missed many presentations
