If the bad connections are in the 15 pin cable or its connectors, you need a
new cable as well, it is not in the kit.

The breakout box eliminator (BOBE) does not necessarily use the 15-pin cable.
You can (and I recommend) you plug it directly into the D44 card and use well
shielded stereo audio cables (1/8 (3.5mm) TRS male plugs on both

Hi gang. I with some help from Eric traced a dead rx, to some of the cabling on
my SDR 1000. I seem to remember there was a mod/kit that replaced the break out
box and the cables to the 1000. Are there still kits around for that, or does
someone have one they would like to sell.
