It took me a while, but I've tracked something down.
When I run any RTTY mode under 1.4.3, power output levels fluxuate in a
way they don't in 1.4.1.

I've been considering doing just that for PSK. It's fairly east to enable
the existing PSK (or RTTY) mode buttons on the console and then use their
click event to set the radio up to whatever you want. Main reason I want to
do it is beca
