OK in a conventional radio you adjust the audio level to adjust output power. In PowerSDR you have to adjust both the Drive and (VAC) TX gain. Doing so I can't get exactly 5 watts output I desire on my digital watt meter it's always several tenths off. I know that the meters accuracy may be wildly

You are welcome to submit and enhancement request ticket via the HelpDesk (http://helpdesk.flexradio.com) for this feature request, but it would be very difficult if not impossible to do with any accuracy. -Tim --- Tim Ellison, W4TME Product Management, Sales & Support FlexRadio Systems^(TM) 46

Maybe I'm wrong, but most of the controls (including, I think the Drive slider) move in 1 dB increments. In a Lab environment, +/- 1 dB in the RF domain is a tough target to maintain without a LOT of process. 73, Tom N4TAB ~~ On 10/20/2011 9:15 PM, Steven Hess wrote: I'd like a fine

I'd like a finer control over output power in PowerSDR. With my Flex-3000 in the digital modes the power control isn't fine enough. Id like to see the ability to adjust in .2 of a watt increments at times. Right now this just isn't possible. -- Steven L Hess ARS KC6KGE DM05gd22 Skype
