The tune function on my Flex5000 started acting strangely. When I hit tune
instead of getting the normal 10 watts I get about 115 watts on the forward
power meter. This is confirmed by an external power meter which reads 100
watts. It doesn't matter which antenna I'm using including a dummy

If you are getting output in USB or LSB into a dummyload, it appears
your balanced modulator has failed and will need
replacement.. Follow the procedure on the Support page for service..
