Looking to use the F3K for sattelite work (why did I not wait for the upcoming /UHF VHFmodules and the F5K? Call it 'spreading out the cost of station upgrade over a period of time, rather than all at once' Plus I REALLY like the F3K for its size). Any suggestions / recommendations welcome.

For satellite work, it is highly recommended that you have a full duplex setup so you can monitor the downlink when transmitting. Since the FLEX-3000 is a half duplex radio, you will need another radio to enable full duplex capabilities - or wait until the V/U module comes out for the
