Carol I suspect that the checkbox in setup-Audio-VAC1 is set to automatically turn onVAC for digital modes, which means it will not automatically turn on for SSB. There are several ways to correct this: 1. Check the "Enable VAC" checkbox in the same window and VAC will always be on 2. Manually c
