Dan,
If you are showing up on upper and lower at the same time, you are missing
one side of the I/Q or the stereo out of the sound card. This can be due to
poor connections or balanced modulator in the radio it self.. Have you
performed the TX Image adjustment? Also check your power out a
Woo-hoo!!! That did it. Such an easy fix. Thank you so much. Last
week I was fighting a non-existent noise level issue by finally putting
chokes on all the cables. That problem would have been much easier to
resolve by turning the preamp on first. So I guess this would not have
even occurr
Check the two audio cables on the back of the SDR-1000...on mine one of
the stereo plugs was pulled half way out and I was having the same kind
of image problem you're seeing.
