I submitted a patch to Curt that puts an announcement on the website
but he didn't apply it until now. You might look at the German website
mirror where I apply the patch manually after each update:

There is an entry in SenecaII-jsbsim.xml
Hi All,
I've been using FlightGear for about 5 months now and as a Software Engineer, I
was interested in how it all worked. Also, during this time I noticed that some
of the aircraft are not full implemented.
I was unsure whether I could actually make a difference but it appears that I

I just noticed there's a small issue, for German locale, IceWM ->

It is here:

How about this idea ...
Since the X-Plane XSquawkBox module is cross platform why don't we just write
a proxy app for it that pretends to be X-Plane and interfaces directly to FG
in the background?
That way :
1. you don't need to purchase X-Plane and run it on another PC
2. all FG users can acc

Hi,
Last week we had a booth at the LinuxTag in Wiesbaden Germany.
We had installed a 3 panel view that attracted many people. We installed a
second flightgear computer, the multiplayer server and the google map
attached to that multiplayer server. All of them equipped with the refined

The SDL flightgear rpm is working just fine. I re-installed the nvidia
drivers from nvidias website rather than from the livan rpms. And that
took care of some missing sym links.
So, I am up running on FC5 with the fgfs sdl rpms.
That's good news for a Monday morning - t

Hi,
looks great here. I've got an ATI Radeon Mobility 9600 and the driver works.
Very good work. I especially like the screenshots at startup - besides
the actual content ;-)
Thanks for your effort. People at the LinuxTag booth have asked for a

Yep - the flap behaviour is crap - I'm working on an improved FDM config. Have
to get deeper in my old aerodynamics books for that...
