Ok, mpmap02.flightgear.org is switched back to pigeon's server. mpserver02
points to sabin's server. I'm happy to make further changes as specific
requests are made.
Regards,
Curt.

For what it's worth, this looks like an area of the code that has been
substantially reworked since the tg-cs fork was created.

Hi,
In priorities.cxx, the function is written as -
static area_type_descriptor& get_area_descriptor( AreaType area ) {
if ( 0<=area || area < area_types.size() ) {
return area_types[area];
} else {
SG_LOG(SG_GENERAL, SG_ALERT, "unknown area code = " << (int)area);

I suspect this service would match the "use terms" ;-) of the MapServer
machine. Anyone willing to help me setting this thing up ?
Cheers,
Martin.

I also don't mind installing FGMap on my server and setting it up to
load properly if we wanted to keep things consistent.

But wasn't this whole thread started because the original mpserver02/mpmap02
was being taken off line?

Sounds like you could change mpmap02 to the IP address that was set for
mpserver02 before. This effectively changes mpmap02 back to what it was
and leaves mpserver02 to the new IP address.

That's the default page at the root of the the server I run and it
shows up if the URL-to-IP Address isn't correct or if someone tries to
get to the server with just the IP address.
Let me know if there's anything I can do on my end to help. Where
should mpmap02.flightgear.org point?

I didn't touch the dns for mpmap02, just mpserver02 (that was all that was
requested.) What is going on with mpmap02? Is this a temporary glitch or
do we need to remove or reassign this ip address too?
Thanks,
Curt.

Well, something went wrong, it seems.
mpmap02.flightgear.org now shows a "This domain has just been registered
for one of our customers!" message.

Ok, dns for mpserver02 has been updated as requested and confirmed by Csaba
and Sabin. The dns changes could take up to 12 hours to flush through the
system and be seen by everybody.
Thanks,
Curt.

Hi All,
Have you ever seen some dense air?
I had just made a nice landing at TNCM and I was looking at it again in
the replay, when I noticed the shadow of my plane was still as if I was
on the runway. Needless to say the shadow was flying with me. It is
definetly not the shadow of my plane o
Sorry everyone: I didn't see this until just now. I agree to take over
the 02 slot -- or any other -- as needed. I'm okay with the proposed
DNS change.
