A few days ago i was stress testing our coast here by putting tons of
buildings. Just for fun and to see the performances of my gfx card with
fgfs. Kinda surprised with the less of objects i had placed and the
consequences this had. I discovered that a few generic objects have double
sides

Try --prop:/sim/rendering/shader-effects=0
Or use the in-sim View > Rendering Options dialog.
