for it, especially the vertical tail.

another problem with osg. i fly since KSFO with the AWACS and all views became
black screen (i only show the popup widget with view name and the FPS)
only one view not became black screen : the airport view, but ...
take a look yourself

around the aircraft. the sun position is not fixed at the same time, left
side of aircraft is on shadow, with another camera position, it's the right
side.
that can explain why some building are day textured, and some others night

w that two-core processor are cheap. and quad-core is not for
tomorrow (even they exists, they will be too expensive when they will be
available). then it's not urgent. but it's the future.
i saw a pentium4 which have two years old, running at 3 GHz, but it was
nitrogen liquid cooling :
lude it in flightgear
because of license issues. but as said curt you can make a "gateway between
flightgear and vatsim.
but one thing to try : if a lot of people write an email to vatsim for
including flightgear, perhaps they write themself the gateway.

perhaps a new investigation way.
i cannot run an old CVS flightgear (lastest of osg inclusion). the only change
i made is to link to svn plib. with the cvs (not updated recently) it's
working perfectly.
