if anyone remembers , what was the purpose of the serviceable
property ?
Was it meant as an on/off switch , instrument fault , or just instrument
state ?
The reason I'm asking is I have redone the Aerostar electrical system ,
so that one can create a battery / alternator with

In the C++ sources under Instrumentation, quite a few implementations
(counted 14) check for proper power.
