Email is not really a suitable means of transferring files of that size.
First thing I thought of doing was looking
You could aslo try sending it through a site called www.YouSendIt.com, set up
to handle transfer up to 1 Gig.

As far as I remember this error is caused by bug SimGear 0.3.9. You have to
build it from CVS snapshot which corrects the bug, this solved the problem in
my case.
