Hello List,
I'm trying to get a alphabetic character instead of a number as
fo:page-number. I think I saw it once somewhere, but can'nt find it yet
where it is needed.
For Instance instead of 1, 2, 3 I want to have A, B, C written on my FOP
generated pages.
Thanks your!
with best regards,

Hello List,
I've a block using the white-space-collapse attribut set to false:
Inside the block is a whitespace character only.
fo:block white-space-collapse=false fo:block
Once I render this, FOP025 gives me an empty line what is exactly what I
want. FOP092 beta some how ignores the block
Hello List,
I'va a table that uses a table-footer. I want the table-footer always at the
bottom of a page. My problem is, that the tables content is lets say for
example only 3 rows height. In this case the footer is placed under the
third line of the table. How can I tell the table that I want
Hello List,
I've to rotate text and use SVG to perform that task because I'm using FOP
0.25 as renderer.
The result is a PDF file.
One part of the rotatet text is supposed to be the pagenumber. I tried:
fo:block
fo:instream-foreign-object
svg:svg width=0.5cm height=1cm
svg:g
and will be
available with FOP 0.92. Otherwise, use the solution pointed out by
Manuel.

List,
I ve

fo:external-graphic content-width="96.75pt"
You'll
have to use a modulo function in xslt.
xsl:template
match="your_row_generating_element"
fo:table-row
xsl:variable name=color
xsl:choose
xsl:when test="position() mod 2 = 0"
xsl:textblue/xsl:text
/xsl:when
xsl:otherwise
xsl:textred/xsl:text
/xsl:otherwise
fo:table-cell
there
was the closing variable element missing. sorry
xsl:template
match="your_row_generating_element"
fo:table-row
xsl:variable name=color
xsl:choose
xsl:when test="position() mod 2 = 0"
xsl:textblue/xsl:text
/xsl:when
xsl:otherwise
/xsl:variable
xsl:textred/xsl:text
/xsl:otherwise
.

Hello List,
I ve tried to convert an FO that I used to convert with FOP 0.20.5 with FOP
0.91 beta.
The conversion process stopped with a message I can not understand:
java.lang.ClassCastException: org.apache.fop.layoutmgr.KnuthSequence
There aren't any further descriptions like where the error

So I think that it is in use somehow. But the latest entry on the news
section on the FOP site is from 8th of september 2005 welcoming Manuel Mall.
So my question is, what is it all about this Trunk Version
Hello List!

Thanks!
