I think this was mentioned before but anyway... If you can't print a file direct like: myfile /dev/LP03, you have another problem. If you can print lp myfile -dLP03 but alarms do not go to that same printer read on. On one of your hosts go to the directory /usr/fox/cs: 1 remove (if it

If I understand you correct, you want to set one or more Real-outputs on the sequence block to 0? Unfortunately, in HLBL you cant make a variable variable. So you cant build a string which happens to match a variable you declared and then use it in a statement. However, you CAN build variable

Dear Ron, As you said and as I mentioned earlier, I checked device monitor before and is not a problem as process (block) alarms are getting printed (on LP03) and the status of LP03 in DEV_MONITOR is showing OK. The problem: System monitor alarm messages, which are configured for this

Hi all, The problem got resolved by rebooting the DZLI for this node. I have a questions, is system alarm messages using Device Monitor for routing messages to printer? As when I rebooted DZLI (LAN module), one of the WP on this node has become the device monitor master and started printing

Thanks everyone for the help with Enclosure Loading on FoxCAE. The next enhancement request for FoxCAE I have is for FoxCAE (and SysDef) to recognize all possible FBM types. We have a bunch of FBM37's, which are 8 4-20 mA analog Outputs on 1 card. Foxboro doesn't have a lot of documentation on

Gabriel, This is fixed for FoxCAE 4.2 that is currently in the release process and should be available soon. The compound parameters are no longer downloaded for single blocks and the ON parameter is never downloaded for existing compounds. Stephan Meyer CAE-Tools, Inc. 781 784

Tim, The FoxCAE 4.2 release is already in the release process but I will ask somebody at Foxboro to add a PT that the FBM37 information is missing and it can be added for the 4.3 release of FoxCAE. You might submit a CAR in order to make sure that the problem is recognized. Stephan Meyer
