Thanks everyone for the help with Enclosure Loading on FoxCAE.
The next enhancement request for FoxCAE I have is for FoxCAE (and SysDef) to
recognize all possible FBM types. We have a bunch of FBM37's, which are 8
4-20 mA analog Outputs on 1 card. Foxboro doesn't have a lot of

As of FoxCAE version 4.0, is the Enclosure Loading function supposed to be
working? I don't think it is, but someone please let me know how you get it
to work if it does. What I do is add the FBM data by hand into the
ENCLOSURES.DBF table. Unfortunately, this cannot even be done with Access,

Hi,

arameter you'll never be able to find what all
of the possibilities are. A simulation engine that could run the block
might be able to find some, but cannot guarantee it, especially because you
can create segments of code that only get executed under special conditions.
I hope this helped
This isn't a FoxCAE enhancement, but a control enhancement.
The CP's need to be modified so that sequence block source code and PLB
block ladder source code is stored on the CP. That way you could regenerate
your control database from a running CP.
You could also have a system without a residen

Hi,
One issue is very important I think, is to be able to upload
Ladder logic via FoxCae "Online". If we got this facility, then
we could display and print easily all the control and safety logic offline.

Hi,
I need to modify the an_init.cfg in order to read the AW70 stand alone named S1 an the CP too.
I have the FoxCAE installed on the same machine (Windown NT 4.0)
I use the letterbug S1 for the AW70 and CP stand alone (for simulation purpose).

I don't know exactly how to put this, but every time I use FoxCAE for any
serious work I feel like I have to beat the software into submission. It
is very non-intuitive. Window conventions, icons, etc. are weird. It
occasionally crashes! It is possible to go into the sheet editor and modify

Foxboro / Invensys should first of all decide on a tool that will
ultimately replace the current integrated control configurator. FoxCAE in
its present form is not suited for this purpose. Ease of use should also
be considered when redesigning the product - such as an improved editor for
