and B and you only show A, the text will show up. Turn on paragraph tags

Apparently I made a mistake in my original post. When I tried a second
time to mark text as both A and B, and then show only A, the text did
not disappear.
So this solves the problem. Text that appears in both A and B manuals, I can
mark as both A and B, then when I print Manual A I can select

Sorry for being unclear. What I mean is that during structured import,
frame is inserting a nameless character format that sets the Japanese
and English fonts even if you've already defined a paragraph tag for
that element in the edd. This blank character tag is placed right
before the actu

matter what I do, when I import all of the text fonts are being set by
a blank character format. So even if I set the data to what I want in
the paragraph tag, the blank character format that is inserted during

This a bit tricky. I haven't done it before, but I found instructions
for it in the Adobe FrameMaker help. The topic title is
"Including the total page count of a book in a header or footer"
The Page Count (<$lastpagenum>) variable ordinarily resets on a
file-by-file basis, but you can make it do
